WWF WRESTLING CHALLENGE - 2/7/87 (Here we have an essentially full episode of a historic installment of Wrestling Challenge. Pretty much nothing is edited out except Koko B. Ware's entrance - whoopee. I've got a master, so VQ is EX.)
Koko B. Ware vs Jimmy Jack Funk Jack Tunney announces the site of Wrestlemania 3 (Pontiac, MI - my hometown! Of course I, being a dumbass, for some reason didn't attend. Not that I've spent any time thinking about that over the last 18 years. ARGH.) British Bulldogs vs Hart Foundation (Hart Foundation win the WWF World Tag titles. Jimmy Hart KO's Dynamite Kid before the match - he was legit too-injured to wrestle and had basically gotten out of a hospital bed to appear at the match - leaving Davey Boy to fight against Hart & Neidhart by himself. He holds his own for awhile, even scoring a phantom pin, but the heel-turning ref Danny Davis spends his time trying to get DK back into the ring. Eventually, the Harts turn the tide and score the win thanks to an ultra-fast count. Historic match.) Outback Jack vignette (Jack at the airport) Jake Roberts vs David Gold Ricky Steamboat visiting a hospital (He's just gotten his voice back from being attacked by Randy Savage, so he's at a hospital with kids and they do sign language.) Demolition vs SD Jones & Don Driggers Piper's Pit w/Andre the Giant & Hulk Hogan (Historic Pit! Andre completes his heel turn by challenging Hogan to a title match at Wrestlemania 3, then rips Hogan's shirt and cross off of him. Great stuff. Thing is, even though he was a heel, a LOT of fans sympathized with Andre in this angle, feeling he was justified in being angry over not getting title shots.) Adrian Adonis vs Mario Mancini Rick Martel & Tom Zenk vs Iron Mike Sharpe & Steve Lombardi
