TAPE 415

Quality: EX (1st Gen Convert)

Length: 3 hrs (2 DVD)

UWFI VS WAR - 7/20/96 (Well, this isn't the tape I was expecting when I got it, but it's a cool tape nonetheless. You get guys from New Japan, UWFI, and WAR, all on one show, plus Rey Jr and Juventud. I've got a 1st gen convert so quality is EX.)
Ultimo Dragon & ??? vs Chris Jericho & ??? (JIP) Jado, Gedo, and Hiromichi Fuyuki vs Kazuo Yamazaki, Osamu Kido, & Takayuki Iizuka (Weird to see Yamazaki on an event featuring UWFI wrestlers, but with him on the New Japan side) Yoshihiro Takayama, Yoji Anjoh, & 200% Machine vs Riki Choshu, Satoshi Kojima, & Osamu Nishimura Koji Kitao, Koki Kitihara, & Maasaaki Mochizuki vs John Tenta, Osamu Taitaki & Arashi (The level of *SUCK* in this match is truly frightening.) Nobuhiko Takada, Masahito Kakihara, & Naoki Sano vs Genichiro Tenryu, Tatsumi Fujinami, & Nobutaka Araya (Good match, but should've been a semi or main event and gone longer.) Jushin Liger & El Samurai vs Lance Storm & Yuji Yasuruoka (Liger & Samurai win the WAR Int'l Jr Tag Titles) Jado, Gedo, & Hiromichi Fuyuki vs Riki Choshu, Satoshi Kojima, & Osamu Nishimura Nobuhiko Takada, Masahito Kakihara, & Naoki Sano vs John Tenta, Osamu Taitaki & Arashi Rey Misterio Jr vs Juventud Guerrera (Rey Jr wins WWA Welterweight title It's amazing how poorly Rey Jr's stuff ages. He shows next to nothing in this match, other than one hurricanrana after another. He does do one AWESOME plancha from the top rope into the first row, but that's it. And Juventud misses about 1000 spots. Ugh.) Nobuhiko Takada, Masahito Kakihara, & Naoki Sano vs Jado, Gedo, & Hiromichi Fuyuki (Takada, Kakihara & Sano win the WAR Int'l 6-Man Title)
