MID-SOUTH HOUSE SHOW VOL 47 (More great action from Mid-South. I've got a 1st gen convert so VQ
is EX)
Bill Dundee vs Rip Oliver, 5/26/85
Rock & Roll Express vs Eddie Gilbert & The Nightmare, 5/26/85 (Hoo boy, bad match. Tons
of stalling and non-action before they go to a quick finish, all without The
Nightmare ever getting into the ring. Blech.)
Jake Roberts vs The Snowman, 6/1/85 (Fun match with TONS of heat from the Superdome in
New Orleans. Muhammad Ali is at ringside for this one and spends a lot of time
trying to get involved, only to be held back by Ernie Ladd. It's fun to see Ali
here as he's still able to move well and looks pretty good. Also weird to see him
on a Mid-South show just 2 months after Wrestlemania. He eventually gets
physically involved and ends up decking Jake Roberts and the Barbarian to BIG
cheers from the crowd. Great stuff!)
Dirty White Boys vs Sgt. Slaughter & Terry Daniels, 6/1/85 (Good match that goes only
5 action-packed minutes. Weird to see Slaughter in a Mid-South ring.)
Bill Dundee vs Tom Pritchard, 6/1/85
Nord the Barbarian vs Pat Rose, 6/1/85
Eddie Gilbert vs Wendell Cooley, 6/1/85
