Length: 17 hrs (9 DVD)

ALL-OUT WAR: UWFI VS NEW JAPAN (Though it killed UWFI in the end, the UWFI/New Japan feud ignited the pro wrestling world like no inter-promotional war before or since. Selling out the Tokyo Dome, hot crowds all over the place, and lots of great matches - this war has it all! Here I've compiled every match from the feud, spanning nearly a year across three different promotions. Truly a must-have for any puro fan! Quality is EX throughout!)
Yoji Anjoh & Tatsuo Nakano vs Riki Choshu vs Yuji Nagata, 9/23/95 (The feud starts with a bang with this one! Extremely stiff match that looks like it devolves into a near-shoot at times. Anjoh nails Nagata in the corner with several shots, swelling Nagata's eye shut. They return the favor on Anjoh later.) Kazushi Sakuraba & Hiromitsu Kanehara vs Tokimitu Ishizawa & Yuji Nagata, 10/9/95 Kenichi Yamamoto vs Shinjiro Ohtani, 10/9/95 Yoshihiro Takayama vs Takashi Iizuka, 10/9/95 Nobuhiko Takada vs Keiji Mutoh, 10/9/95 (More than any other, this match hurt Takada's credibility. Here he jobs to a "showy" pro wrestler. By submission. To a figure four. Not the best thing to happen to a "shooter" like Takada.) Naoki Sano vs Jushin Liger, 10/9/95 (Good match as they revive their rivalry from 1990.) Yoji Anjoh vs Riki Choshu, 10/9/95 (Choshu was a douchebag throughout this feud, doing everything he could - in the ring and as booker - to crap on UWFI. Jackass!) Masahito Kakihara vs Kensuke Sasaki, 10/9/95 (Sasaki is a Choshu disciple, so he also tried to embarrass UWFI guys and take liberties. Here he craps all over Kakihara before doing the job and no-selling the finish.) Tatsuo Nakano vs Shinnya Hashimoto, 10/9/95 Kazushi Sakuraba & Hiromitsu Kanehara vs Tadao Yasuda & Tokimitsu Ishizawa, 10/11/95 Tatsuo Nakano vs Kensuke Sasaki, 10/11/95 (Nakano lays in some nice kicks here) Masahito Kakihara & Yoji Anjoh vs Riki Choshu & Yuji Nagata, 10/11/95 Kenichi Yamamoto vs Shinjiro Ohtani, 10/28/95 (Weird lack of flow to this one, like Ohtani is not cooperating) Hiromitsu Kanehara vs Tatsuhito Takaiwa, 10/28/95 Kazushi Sakuraba vs Koji Kanemoto, 10/28/95 (Kanemoto botches a slam and drops Sakuraba on his face - VERY scary looking.) Naoki Sano vs Hiro Saito, 10/28/95 Yoshihiro Takayama vs Kensuke Sasaki, 10/28/95 Masahito Kakihara & Tatsuo Nakano vs Shinya Hashimoto & Akira Nogami, 10/28/95 Yoji Anjoh vs Masa Chono, 10/28/95 (Chono does the submission job! Anjoh got more wins than anybody in UWFI during this feud) Tatsuo Nakano vs Kazuo Yamazaki, 10/29/95 (Weird to see Yamazaki on the NJ side...) Hiromitsu Kanehara vs Shinjiro Ohtani, 10/29/95 Kazushi Sakuraba vs Takashi Iizuka, 10/29/95 Naoki Sano & Kenichi Yamamoto vs Jushin Liger & Koji Kanemoto, 10/29/95 (Kanemoto would have been a great UWFI guy...) Masahito Kakihara & Yoshihiro Takayama vs Keiji Mutoh & Yuji Nagata, 10/29/95 (Big win for the UWFI guys here) Yoji Anjoh vs Kensuke Sasaki, 10/29/95 Hiromitsu Kanehara vs Takashi Iizuka, 11/25/95 Naoki Sano vs Tokimitsu Ishizawa, 11/25/95 Tatsuo Nakano vs Riki Choshu, 11/25/95 Masahito Kakihara vs Tadao Yasuda, 11/25/95 YOJI ANJOH & YOSHIHIRO TAKAYAMA VS MASA CHONO & HIROSHI TENZAN, 11/25/95 (Wild match that is super-heated. Very stiff and both teams interfere liberally. Early in the match, Takayama uses a piece of guardrail(!) as a lawn dart at Chono's head. GREAT stuff!) Yoji Anjoh vs Masa Chono, 12/10/95 (Anjoh returns the favor to Chono, doing the job here) Kazushi Sakuraba vs Tokimitsu Ishizawa, 12/10/95 Kenichi Yamamoto vs Yuji Nagata, 12/10/95 Kenichi Yamamoto vs Osamu Nishimura, 12/30/95 Yoji Anjoh vs Hiro Hase, 12/30/95 (Anjoh scores another big win...) Nobuhiko Takada & Antonio Inoki vs Kazuo Yamazaki & Yoshiaki Fujiwara, 12/30/95 (2/3 Falls - lots of talent here but only mixed results) Hiromitsu Kanehara, Kazushi Sakuraba, & Kenichi Yamamoto vs Shinjiro Ohtani, Tokimitsu Ishizawa, & Yuji Nagata, 1/4/96 Masahito Kakihara vs Riki Choshu, 1/4/96 (Choshu once again is a dickhead...) Nobuhiko Takada vs Keiji Mutoh, 1/4/96 (Takada wins the IWGP title) Shinya Hashimoto vs Kazuo Yamazaki, 1/4/96 (Not a UWFI vs NJ match but close, given Yamazaki's long tenure with UWFI. He reprises his role as Takada's gatekeeper here, once again facing a challenger prior to that guy getting a shot at Takada) Masahito Kakihara, Hiromitsu Kanehara, Kazushi Sakuraba, Kenichi Yamamoto vs Shinjiro Ohtani, Yuji Nagata, Tokimitsu Ishizawa & Tatsuhito Takaiwa, 2/3/96 (2/3 Falls - should have gone much longer; good match anyway) Yoshihiro Takayama & Yoji Anjoh vs Hiroshi Tenzan & Hiro Saito, 2/3/96 Yoshihiro Takayama & Yoji Anjoh vs Shinnya Hashimoto & Junji Hirata, 2/25/96 Nobuhiko Takada & Naoki Sano vs Keiji Mutoh & Jushin Liger, 2/25/96 (Basically a squash as Takada refuses to interfere - because that's "cheating" while Sano gets double-teamed. When he finally helps out, the match ends like 30 seconds later. Takada is in the ring maybe 1 minute in this match. Ugh.) Masahito Kakihara vs Shinjiro Ohtani, 3/1/96 (Excellent match) Yoji Anjoh & Yoshihiro Takayama vs Kazuo Yamazaki & Takashi Iizuka, 3/1/96 (Clearly a UWFI-booked show as Yamazaki does a clean submission job here in front of his old fans) Naoki Sano vs Keiji Mutoh, 3/1/96 (Big singles match for Sano & Mutoh...) Nobuhiko Takada vs Shiro Koshinaka, 3/1/96 (Takada defends the IWGP title here) Hiromitsu Kanehara vs Kengo Kimura, 3/23/96 Masahito Kakihara vs Akitoshi Saito, 3/23/96 Yoji Anjoh & Kenichi Yamamoto vs Kuniaki Kobayashi & Akira Nogami, 3/23/96 Nobuhiko Takada & Naoki Sano vs Shiro Koshinaka & Michiyoshi Ohara, 3/23/96 Yoji Anjoh & Yoshihiro Takayama vs Keiji Mutoh vs Kensuke Sasaki, 3/26/96 Kazushi Sakuraba vs Tokimitsu Ishizawa, 4/19/96 Yoshihiro Takayama vs Tatsuhito Takaiwa, 4/19/96 Masahito Kakihara vs Yuji Nagata, 4/19/96 Nobuhiko Takada & Hiromitsu Kanehara vs Riki Choshu & Kensuke Sasaki, 4/19/96 (Bad booking sees Takada's team jobbing on his home turf. Blech. For some odd reason, Choshu & Sasaki aren't uncooperative turds here - possibly because Takada, weak a shooter as he is, can still legit kick their asses? Could be...) NOBUHIKO TAKADA VS SHINYA HASHIMOTO, 4/29/96 (Excellent match that is often seen as the end of the UWFI/NJ war. Hashimoto wins the IWGP title.) Hiromitsu Kanehara vs Akira Nogami, 5/27/96 Masahito Kakihara vs Shiro Koshinaka, 5/27/96 Kazushi Sakuraba vs Shinjiro Ohtani, 6/17/96 (From the Skydiving J show...) NOBUHIKO TAKADA & MASAHITO KAKIHARA VS TATSUMI FUJINAMI & YOSHIAKI FUJIWARA, 6/26/96 (Terrific match that's very vicious. Kakihara catches Fujiwara with a heel to the eye early in the match, busting him open and swelling the eye shut. After that, Fujiwara just POUNDS on Kakihara. Give him credit though - Fujiwara takes as good as he gives. Fujinami takes a beating as well. Great stuff.) Yoshihiro Takayama, Yoji Anjoh, & 200% Machine vs Riki Choshu, Satoshi Kojima, & Osamu Nishimura, 7/20/96 Nobuhiko Takada & Hiromitsu Kanehara vs Tatsumi Fujinami & Shiro Koshinaka, 7/21/96 Masahito Kakihara vs Kensuke Sasaki, 9/11/96 Naoki Sano vs Shinya Hashimoto, 9/11/96 (And, so, with a whimper more than a bang, the All-Out War concludes...)
